The Market Gap
The fastest-growing fintechs share a common trait: they invest heavily in technology and think in terms of scalability, data infrastructure, and automation. Traditional financial services resist this shift—viewing tech as a cost center rather than a strategic asset.
The result? Legacy players struggle with data quality, regulatory compliance, and operational inefficiencies. They lack the technical foundation to compete in a market where speed, reliability, and data-driven decisions are table stakes.
My Approach
I build operations with an engineer's mindset: focused on distributed systems, fault tolerance, and scalability. I bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.
My Track Record
The Scale (Mercado Libre)
Engineered backend systems for Latam's largest e-commerce platform. I managed high-availability infrastructure and learned what operational excellence looks like when processing millions of daily transactions.
The Build (TECRO)
As a developer, I implemented ISO 8583 protocols and routing engines. As COO, I built the entire back-office from scratch (Finance, HR, Commercial), scaling the team from 30 to 60 people while establishing operational processes that ensured profitability and compliance.
The Strategy (Board Member)
Today, I translate technical complexity into business strategy, defining technology roadmaps and evaluating technical risk in strategic decisions.
